I stumbled upon a promo video of SegaWorld, Sega’s Indoor theme park that used to be at the Trocadero – London Picadilly Circus. Segaworld was awesome. It had really advanced virtual reality games, simulators and 3d games for the time. There was a ride called VR-1 Space mission, where you sat in a space ship simulator and shot down space ships competing with up to 7 other people, and the best thing was it even had Micheal Jackson as your co-pilot!

Unfortunately it closed down a while ago, and in its place is the crappy Funland, which isn’t even half as big, and had no big rides at all.

ALIEN WAR

Trocadero used to have the massivley popular ALIEN WAR attaction, in which you could be a victim traped on an alien planet hunted by ALINES and protected by colonial marines.
According to alienexperience.com, the ride is going to be repopened again in 2008, which is excellent news!!!!!

Last month was my 22nd birthday. I initially planned not to do much ad just have a low key affair, but by the divine forces that be, it turned out to be one of the busiest birthdays of my life!

Thursday 20th September – My Birthday

On my actual birthday, I went to a really cool restuarant in Tottenham Hale called The Lock. It was a huge surprise to find such an up market place in an area like Tottenham. The food was very high class gormet, and is a signal for things to come in Tottenhm Hale area. Regeneration, and easy access to tube and train services is making it a growing hotspot for young professionals.

Friday 21st September – PARTY!!!!!!

On Friday I went to The Loop Bar, off Oxford Street, for a great night out with friends dancing and having fun.
It was a really good night.

Saturday 22nd September

On Saturday the partying continued as I went to Guanabara Bar for some sexy salsa latino fun. Its quite a small venue but they had live music and Caperara fighters performing which was cool.

Sunday 23rd September – Branding Begins

And here’s your host – I AM! lol
Yes on Sunday I went to a gig to raise money for batteling arms trade corruptio which featured a lt of different stand up comedians. But to be honest the high light of the show was those Crazy Rotting Tooting Cowboy Booties, err yeah and Russell Brand was pretty cool too. Heres a clip:

WPvideo 1.10

Monday 24th September – SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP ZZZZ

Tuesday 25th September – GTA Ponders End

Tuesday was totally unplanned, and quite a sureal day. I met up with some of m very old and dear friends, to which one of them took us on a dodgey ride of waiting for around in Tesco car parks for packages, sneaking up to houses and war driving just to name a few. better not say anymore…..

Wednesday 26th Spetember – CARDIFFFFFFFF

WPvideo 1.10

On wednesday I went to Cardiff to see Gwen Stefanni.
Cardiff is pretty small for the capital of Wales. I wasnt very impressed, and the parking was terrible, it took nearly an hour to get out the car park, because its so badly designed. Gwen Stefani was cool tho, I liked the fact she said “where am I? why am I in wales?” and the crowd kept cheering nether the less bless.

Thursday 27th September – TRANSMISSION>>>>>

On Thursday I got invited to goto a secret gig at King Cross for T-mobile Transmission. Mutya, CSS and some other bands were there, with free booze and nice music, it turned out to be a great night.

Friday 28th September – BRANDED FOR LIFE

My ultra super dooper dose of brandom was given to be on friday when I went o Russell Brand’s live gig at the Hackney Empire. It was brilliant, he did the fonejacker gag, even Mr Gee and Matt Morgan were there, I did think he generalised his stand up a bit, which is to be expected I suppsoe to reach a bigger audience, but I think he should make more refernce to his Radio show topics and then it would be award winning.

Although the theme was 70′s, only a few individuals bothered to dress the part. The funny thing was the girl who won the best dressed award was Maryse’s sister Adel, who didn’t even dress up, although she still looked nice.

The venue was the Park Plaza Hotel in Victoria, which had a large hall and bar at the bottom of the hotel. There was a small dancefloor with professional dancers dressed 70′s style (take not of the girl below ),

they had a lot of food on offer which looked nice, but I was stuffed when I came so didnt get to taste it. Near the bar area was a Kubla Khan love pad, filled with lava lamps, pinball machines, twister and Jenga. Some asshole knocked over Jenga when we was playing it, but he eventually got kicked out so security were on the ball, and everyone else there were generally cool, although some people did act a bit stuck up.

Anyways, here are more pics, they apparently say more than a thousand words, if thats the case people who read the sun must me smarter than financial times readers. ¬_¬

This autumn I have been really busy with both work and play, I have hardly had time to do all the things I wanted (ie writing my stories, new media projects ect).

December is here, and with the iminant arrival of the Wii in just a couple of days, next month I am definitely gonna spend more time indoors having fun.

So, this is just a bit of a run down of what Ive been up to the last couple of months:

Little Britain Live

I went to see Little Britain live at the Hammersmith Apollo, and it was amazing. The clever use of video on the set was funny and some of the outrageous things they did in the sketches were really funny. Things like, a man being “molested” on stage, a fat woman from the audience being cussed and Bubbles revealing her bits to all! If you missed the show, get the DVD, I havent seen it yet but ti should be good.

Peter Pan on Ice

Within a circus like tent on the mountain everglades of the palace of crystals, beheld a a rink of ice in which the boy who never grew up battled with Capatin Hook. Peter Pan on Ice, was basically a panto-esc show for kids, I went purely to entertain my younger syblins, however I did enjoy some of the amazing arials stunts the perfomed, wuch as the arieal battle between Hook and Pan (very dragonball z esc), and also they guy dressed as the god skating on all fours!

Video Game Live!

With the release of the Nintendo Wii and the PS3 in the US, me and a few mates decided to celebrate the history of gaming to get us in the mood for the revolutionary new games coming soon. Video games live, was a concert by a LIVE orchatsra that performed favourite tunes from all different video games. Mario, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and Sonice were all glorfied in musical excellence. However the MAIN acctraction of the evnt, wasnt what was on the stage, but whta was in the lobby. THEY HAD A NINTENDO WII!!!! The crowds of gameing fans ammased around the wii, all eager for a chance to see this revolutionariy gaming machine in action. Unfortunalet I didnt get a go because the ques were too big, but it was amazing to see it nether the less. It was also interesting to see how the current “console war” is fairing on the portable front. Nearly 300+ gamers at the event were playing on Nintendo DS’s before the show. It was AMAZING, everyone playing together having fun, sharing games. In contrats I only saw about 3 PSP owners, playing by themselves in the corner with shame!

GAME ON!!!

Yesterday, just 6 days before the Ninetdo Wii is launched in the UK, I went to GAME ON, at the science museum, to learn about gaming history, and play new and old games alike. Although it was fun to play games like Street Fighter 2, Bomerman and Metroid again. The highlight of the day was when I got to play the NINTENDO WII. It was amazing, i was playing Wii sports, Tennis, and it just feels so natural, like real tennis almost (but on the spot). You have to move the wiimote exactly how you would to serve and hit the racquet in real tennis, and it just felt soo refreshing, a game that feels real.

O yeah, and there was also a PS3 there, that thing is so fat! Its bigger than a bloody XBOX, and the controller doesn’t even have rumble! In the que to play the new consoles, well there wasn’t really a que at all for the PS3 and XBOX 360, because everyone wanted to play the Wii. OK OK, so the PS3 graphics look amazing right, but after a while, once you realize your just playing the same old games, but shelling out 10 times more for them, you think to yourself, whats the point? The Wii on the other hand is a games console that should be in everyones home. I have pre-ordered 3, from Game station, Argos, and Woolworth’s, so hopefully I will get a least 1 before Christmas.

The last couple of weeks has been so manic, I nearly forgot all about my 21st birthday.

Fortunately I had some plans up my sleves to celebrate 21 years on this earth. A quater of my life has gone by, so much has changed yet inside I feel vey much the same as when I was 10.

I celebrated my birthday by doing some things I always wanted to do, and hving fun with those closet to me.

Barcelona!

The weekend before my birthday, I flew off to Barcelona with my girl. Travelling has always been on of my greatet passions, so going to a great city like Barcelona was amazing.

Barcelona is like Paris, but by the sea, and with beautiful weather. Since we wasnt there long, we couldnt get to got Port Aventura, which is one of the best theme parks in Europe, just an hour from Barcelona. However, we had bear fun going on the city bus tour at night, visting the aqarium, zoo, and riding the subway. The food in Barcelona has much to be desired tho, but maybe thats because I dont like spanish food that much.

Xscape!

Since my brother’s birthday is just a day after mine, I wanted to share a brithday experience with him and the rest of my family. The weekend after my birthday, we went to Xscape in Milton Keynes.

Xscape is an amazing leisure complex, it has an indoor snowslope, rock climbing walls, bowling alley, and AIRKIX!!!! Airkix is a skydiving simulator. And trust me, thats and understatement. After the 5 minute video brefing you how to fly, you put on the skydiving gear, and make your way to the AIR CHAMBER! This purpose built chamber houses 4 jumbo jet engines that blow air beneath you to make you literally float in the air! Its an amazing experience, feels a lot like swimming. I was a bit worried my bro, who is 8, and my lil cousins, wouldnt be able to handle it. However, they were better than me! Since they are smaller, and lighter, they float more easily and have more room to manouver in the chamber.

WPvideo 1.10

DOWNLOAD

The only bad thing about it was the price. £180 for a family ticket (5 people), is a lot of money for 4 minutes of flying. However, thats much less that a real sky diving trip (£150 pp), or going into space (£100,000pp), so I guess its worth while afterall.

Also while at Xscape we had an unexpected encounter with Frank Bruno. He parked up near us in his red mercades convertable, and my lil cuz shouted “Frank Bruno!” trying to be cheeky. Atonishly he answered back “Yeah mate?”. My cuz, not expecting any response started laughing and my bro joined in. LOL.

Jigga

The finally to my birthday celebrations was a last minute thing. I was lucky enough to get some tickets to the London Jay Z concert at Wembly, from my mate Mani.

The concert was amazing, guest appearance from kano, Lupa Fisaco, Nas, and BEYONCE!!!!!

WPvideo 1.10

Jay Z and Beyonce at Wembley Arena

DOWNLOAD

To be honest, I’ve never been a big Jay-Z fan, but after the concert, I deffinately rate him higher than I did before.

Just the beginning?

Even though Ive had an amazing birthday so far, this is certainly not the end. I have a few more things planned before the end of the year to celebrate 21 years of me me me!

LITTLE BRITAIN LIVE

WICKED – THE MUSICAL

PETER PAN ON ICE (LOLS, for the kid inside that never wants to grow up)

Dubai is an amazing place to go on holiday, the 5 star hotels are lavish and the staff are friendly. So much shops, it makes Bluewater look like Spar. And so many exciting activities, we did water sports, went snowboarding (YES Snowboarding on REAL snow in desert country!!!), and also Dune buggy safari, which was so cool.

I have written a more in depth review of the hotels I stayed at on Trip Advisor, and ill post the links as soon as my reviews have been approved. I have also made a DVD, which gives you a first hand view of what its like in Dubai.
